The Tweed Gallery Artisans' Market is an initiative of local creative designer Ellie Beck, organised with support from the Friends of the Tweed River Art Gallery.
The market aims to raise the profile of 'modern' local artists, crafters and designers in the Murwillumbah and surrounding Tweed River area, while providing an excellent space for artisans to showcase their wares, and shoppers to support their local craftspeople.
Following on from a very successful first Christmas market in December 2011, the Gallery Artisan Market has showcased some amazing local creatives - many their first time at a market ever, who have gone on to receive fabulous successes in their creative practice.
